The Transatlantic Consumer Dialogue (TACD) is a forum of U.S. and EU consumer organizations which develops and agrees on joint consumer policy recommendations to the U.S. government and European Union to promote the consumer interest in policy making. The TACD regularly issues statements and recommendations on important food, information society, intellectual property, financial services and nanotechnology issues.

On January 25 and 26, the TACD will re-convene in Brussels for its annual meeting to exchange information, disseminate knowledge, and share of expertise on key consumer issues in the EU and the U.S. The TACD Multi-stakeholder Forum will take place on January 26, which will bring together participants representing civil society, government, legislators and business on both sides of the Atlantic to discuss issues of importance to consumers related to the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP).

Jeremy Malcolm and Maira Sutton of EFF's International Team will be attending both days of the meeting.
