The Electronic Frontier Foundation is excited to be holding its first ever student research colloquium on July 28, 2015. The event is open to any current graduate students in the Bay Area for the summer who are doing research in computer security, privacy, cryptography and related fields.
We will be holding a session of informal 5-minute (or less) lightning talks and all attendees are encouraged to participate. No need to make slides (unless you really want to)-just tell the EFF Technologist team what you're up to in your research or during your summer internship. We'll also have some lightning talks from EFF Staff on ongoing privacy and security projects at EFF.
Food and drink will be provided, so come on up to EFF Headquarters to meet some friendly members of the EFF team (as well as fellow students), talk about research and learn more about EFF!
Please RSVP by Wednesday, July 22 if you are interested in attending. Just email both Joseph Bonneau and Peter Eckersley and include your name, school, what you're up to this summer, and a title for the talk you'd like to give.
